Your Route
Vineyards at the gates of Beaune, picturesque rolling villages along the Route des Grands Crus — the itinerary travels the full breadth of the Côte de Beaune :
› The vineyards at Beaune's doorstep — first sweeping views over the Côte de Beaune
› Pommard & Volnay — iconic Pinot Noir country, balancing power and elegance
› Meursault — Meursault — a pause in the heart of the village, where golden-stone silence meets the world's most coveted Chardonnay
› Puligny-Montrachet & Chassagne-Montrachet — the heart of the golden triangle, home to the world's most coveted white wine parcels
The route loops through the vineyards — no long straight roads — so you can experience the landscape fully, stop where the moment calls, and take it all in at your own pace.
The Two Tasting Experiences
First Estate — The Family Cellar
You step down into vaulted cellars at a human-scale estate. Rows of French oak barrels, cool stone walls, the scent of wine slowly aging. The winemaker opens their cellar and we explain their choices: manual harvesting, aging lengths, parcel-by-parcel decisions.
You taste 5–6 wines moving up Burgundy's hierarchy — from Village to Premier Cru. You ask your questions. You understand what terroir really does to wine — and why two plots 200 metres apart produce radically different results.
Second stop — The tasting cellar
Here the format shifts. You compare neighboring appellations side by side. The differences stop being theoretical — they become real, physical, undeniable in the glass. You train your palate, learn to identify each terroir's signature, and taste at least one Grand Cru.
Your guide — WSET certified — answers every question without jargon, with the passion of someone who genuinely lives for these wines.
Estates are selected to match your preferences — appellations, styles, specific domaines. Just let us know when you book.
